It is not too late to register for Thursday’s Know the Law! lecture on Landlord/Tenant Law! This FREE community program will take place at the Vista Branch of the San Diego County Library from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, and will cover the new rental laws in California.
This program will be lead by an volunteer attorney who practices Landlord/Tenant Law here in California, and will discuss rent increases, deposits, maintaining properties, and evictions. Attendees will receive basic knowledge on this legal topic and have an opportunity to participate in a Q & A session after the presentation. This session is designed to assist both landlords and tenants.
The Know the Law! series is a partnership between SDLL, the San Diego County Library Vista Branch, the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and the North County Bar Association, and this is the first of three lectures. The next lecture will take place on Thursday, March 26th, and the topic is yet to be determined.
Presenting attorneys should NOT be considered as personal lawyers. You may be required to sign a waiver before speaking to an attorney that states that no attorney client relationship is being created with this free service. The lawyers are there to provide general guidance.
