Notre Dame to host Stephen Vladeck on the shadow docket and its critics

On Friday, Oct. 8, at 12:30 p.m. EDT, Notre Dame Legislation School will host “Clearing up some misconceptions about the Supreme Court’s shadow docket — and its critics,” introduced by University of Texas University of Legislation professor Stephen Vladeck. Professor Samuel Bray will respond. The occasion is co-sponsored by the Countrywide Lawyers Guild, ACLU, and LGBT Legislation Discussion board at Notre Dame and will be livestreamed on YouTube. The event follows Justice Samuel Alito&#8217s speech at Notre Dame defending the courtroom&#8217s use of the shadow docket.
