Are Referral Bonuses Included in Overtime Calculations?
Referral bonuses frequently aren’t included in the regular amount of pay out and so aren’t included in time beyond regulation calculations, according to a current Office of Labor belief letter. But some parts of a referral reward could be included if the personnel has a contractual correct to the payment.
