On June 4, 2021, the Federal Sign-up revealed the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System’s (“Board”) adoption of amendments to Regulation D (Reserve Demands of Depository Establishments). These amendments, among other points, eradicate references to selected fees, in certain the “interest on required reserves” charge and the “interest on excessive reserves” charge these are changed with a reference to a one “interest on reserve balances” charge……
