‘I think the law is with us’: Bannon plans appeal of conviction

(The Hill) — Previous Trump White Dwelling adviser Steve Bannon pledged to appeal his conviction for contempt of Congress on Friday, expressing that he’s received a “long appeals process” coming up. 

“I believe the law’s with us on a variety of cases,” Bannon explained to Fox News’s Tucker Carlson. “I imagine some of this is actually likely to be adjudicated it’s possible even higher than the appellate courts.
