Hong Kong legislation company ONC Lawyers has dropped its technological innovation consultant, Joshua Chu, to Singapore-headquartered metaverse blockchain enterprise Coinllectibles.
Chu is going in-dwelling to Coinllectibles, which is publicly traded on the over-the-counter markets in the U.S., as chief danger officer.
Coinllectibles, a fully owned subsidiary of Hong Kong expense keeping organization Cosmos Group Holdings Inc., curates and mints collectible merchandise into its proprietary Fusion non-fungible tokens (NFTs). It will help creators and collectors bridge the hole among physical and electronic artwork, which are underpinned by smart contracts and legal documents stored on the blockchain.
At ONC, Chu worked on cybersecurity investigations, tech- and fintech-related litigation and advised on tokenization projects. With his departure, the tech crew at ONC will be led by 1 contentious observe partner—Dominic Wai.
In addition to his placement at Coinllectibles, Chu holds concurrent positions as a guide at OhKims Advisory (HK) Limited, the blockchain and regtech enterprise consulting arm of South Korean regulation agency OhKims Law & Organization, and at Hong Kong fintech consultancy ProSynergy Consulting Confined.
In advance of signing up for ONC as a guide, Chu practiced at Hong Kong corporations Georgiou Payne Stewien, previously regarded as GPS McQuhae, and at Robinsons Lawyers. His stints at both equally firms concentrated on tech-linked disputes.
