About the Speakers
David Finn has served as the President of the Federal Bar Affiliation, San Diego Chapter given that January 2020. He is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division, wherever he has tried using dozens of federal legal jury trials and argued instances in the Ninth Circuit Courtroom of Appeals. In 2014, he was awarded the Division of Justice’s Director’s Award for Exceptional Efficiency. In 2015, he gained the national Federal Bar Association’s Young Law firm Award. He is a recurrent instructor at the Division of Justice’s Nationwide Advocacy Middle wherever he teaches demo advocacy. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and California Western University of Legislation.
Rebecca Church is the President-Elect of the Federal Bar Affiliation, San Diego Chapter. She has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Business for the Southern District of California given that 2015. Prior to signing up for the U.S. Attorney’s Business, Rebecca was an Affiliate Attorney at Duane Morris LLP, wherever she practiced in the professional and employment groups. She served as a Judicial Legislation Clerk for two federal judges and is a Law firm Agent to the U.S. District Courtroom for the Southern District of California.
